Even his backpack got bigger from September to May!

Maybe that is why I am so weepy today.

What a great year Caleb had in Ms. Cindy's class! His class celebrated the last day of school today with a pizza and ice cream party. He reminded me at least twelve times this morning that I did not need to pack him a lunch today. He and his friends enjoyed a fun day of playing, as Caleb informed me that there was "no work to be done" on the last day. As an added bonus to top off the school year, Caleb was awarded the Super Cleaner Award for his class. Even more proof that he is definitely his father's son. Way to go, Biz!

He has just grown up so much over the past nine months and has learned so much that it just blows my mind. Each and every day, I am reminded of how happy I am that God chose to make me Caleb's mommy. I have learned so much from that little guy and I am so proud of the young man he is becoming. He will return for 5-year-old Preschool next year, along with many of his classmates, which gives me one more year to prepare for the inevitable K word. Lord help me when that day comes.

For now, though, we will prepare for our fun summer of flexibility and little structure. And lots of pool time!
