To say that Seth loves to play basketball is a huge understatement! I have never seen a child so young be this enthralled with anything. At our house, it is a rare sight to see Seth NOT with a ball in hand. He has been dribbling--really dribbling--since he was 18 months old. And making shots since earlier than that. I am not sure from where his coordination came. Or how it all comes so naturally for the little guy. I have never been the most graceful kid on the block, that is for sure. And my brief stint in the Pee-wee/Jr. Pro basketball leagues when I was younger, was brief for good reason. I guess the talent is hidden somewhere in Daddy's genes. Hidden because Eric is a runner and tennis player. No basketball on his resume either. (Unless you count that pick-up game he had with some guys at Gateway park the last time we were in Kentucky. You did have some impressive surprise moves, Honey.)

It is so much fun to watch Sethie play something that he enjoys so much! I guess watching ALL of that basketball during the fall and winter had a profound impact on him. And we do watch a lot of basketball around here during the college season. After all, we are from Kentucky, so it is the law.
Seth is content to either sit down and watch a basketball game or play right alongside the TV with his little basketball goal. It is really fun to observe our little basketball man during game time. And for him, it is game time often.

As long as he has his ball, he is one happy camper! It has even found its way into his bed on many occasions.

Slam Dunk!!!
Maybe it will be a lifelong love or just a childhood game. We will see. Either way, enjoy your God-given talent, little guy!
