New Rooms

Everyone in the Workman house got a new room this past week. Well, everyone except for Seth, but he got a new roommate, so it is definitely not the same old room he had before. We are really enjoying all of the changes in the Workman house. Especially the new playroom!!!

Most of our renovations are complete. We found a great team to paint our main room and did the crown molding throughout the entire house. They were good to work with, did an awesome job, and gracefully worked around two active boys who were not easily confined. And they got it all done within our time frame on short notice. So, if you need a recommendation, let me know. Sethie even developed his first crush (okay, second, Aurora was his first) on the young lady who helped with the painting. It was really cute to watch him do all sorts of tricks to get her attention, and very funny because that is way out of character for Seth. I guess he was really smitten.

We still have a bit more painting to do ourselves, but the major grunt work is complete! Hooray! It really feels like we have moved. And after this little project, the Workmans plan to stay put for a few more years, because I DO NOT have the energy to move again...moving bedrooms was a big enough task.

Below are some pictures of our progress. The walls are mostly bare, since I haven't yet had the motivation to put all of the stuff back on the walls. And I wasn't very savvy at getting the best angles in the room, but you can at least get the general idea.

Goodbye blue paint.

Our former bedroom downstairs is now the playroom.

And yes, I did find my camera. Thank you to those of you who were concerned and asked. Also, thanks to those of you who let us invade your home to look at your walls in our paint color pursuit.
