The boys are usually wonderful sports about getting their pictures taken. I mean, they are no strangers to the flash of the camera, since I pull it out at least twenty times a day. When Seth sees mommy bring out the camera, even before I "point and shoot", he is smiling and saying, "Cheese." Today, however, I think we had one too many cameras pointed at the boys and for way too long. Memaw and Pepaw were capturing some last minute shots of their boys before driving back to Kentucky (and of course, mommy had her camera in hand, and I think there was a cell phone camera involved, too). Even if they only looked at the camera a third of the time, the boys were smiley and patient for the first 50 photos. Then they had had enough of the paparazzi we were becoming. They could humor us no longer. They needed to play and we were seriously hindering their endeavors. After all, how many pictures do you really need? How much could the boys change in two seconds? Oh, we had been warned by the increased squirming and fading smiles, but we kept trying for that one last shot. Finally, Caleb and Seth gave their final protest and we were forced to concede and withdrew our cameras. I did, however, capture this one last battle cry before I threw my hands up in surrender.
Go play boys!
