Who Needs Training Wheels?

Biz got a bike for his birthday. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find training wheels to fit his bike. A friend suggested that we teach him to ride without training wheels.

Oh, I hadn't really thought about that. Okay, I am sure it can be done. Biz is a pretty coordinated guy.

Let's go for it!


Last week, I took him out to practice and he did really well.

The next day, he and daddy went out for some more practice. To our surprise, he got it!

WOO HOO!



Now he just has to work on learning to stop, which has been a bit more of a challenge.





And avoiding/dodging trees, the house, and his little brother.





Once his confidence level catches up with his ability, he will be pedaling all over town.

Since this went so well, we will begin teaching Seth to ride next week.
