So what are the Real benefits of turning five????
From the time Caleb has been able to stand and reach the chess board in Tante and Uncle Tim's family room, he has been dying to get his hands on those pieces and move them all over the place. It is a pretty cool chess set...Brits vs. Scots.
Well, this was the year!!! Tante's rule for Caleb and now Sethie, too, is that you must be FIVE years old in order to play on that chess board. So, where could Caleb be found on his fifth birthday??? At the chess board with Tante teaching him how to play.
It was worth the wait for sure. And if you ask Momma, the time went a bit faster than I anticipated!
Only 2 1/2 more years and it will be your turn. Maybe Caleb will be the one to help teach you to play, little buddy. And don't worry that time will pass in the blink of an eye. Much to Momma's dismay.
