Best Camping Spot Around

You would be hard pressed to find a better spot to camp than in the McLaughlins very own backyard! 

Just ask our boys!!

A few weeks ago, Tante and Uncle Tim invited the boys over for a night of "roughing it" at their house.  Camping out with the McLaughlins is something our boys LOVE to do, so they were more than excited about the adventure.

And they meant business, too.  Since they were real campers, Tante instructed them that they were only allowed to come indoors under extreme circumstances (ie. having to go #2).  Caleb said that was fine, because they had all they needed (Cheetos and Sun Chips) inside the tent.  In his eyes, that meets any camper's need. 

They had so much fun! Both Caleb and Seth's favorite parts of the campout were roasting marshmallows and reading in the tent with Uncle Tim. Tante had told them that they could stay up extra late reading. Caleb exclaimed, "We were up until MIDNIGHT!" ( In real time, though, I think they were actually conked out by 10:00pm.)

It even rained during the night, which only added to their outdoorsy adventure.

Tante had all the bases covered.  Above, the boys are brushing their teeth after a night of  ruggedness.  Even burly outdoorsmen (in Mario pjs) need to have clean teeth!

What a great time and fun adventure!!
