Surprisingly, it was this little jewel that got him most excited. (Yes, even more than Legos.)
Yard sale day coincided with allowance day, which was a big plus for Caleb. He set out with us with his little wallet in search of something fun. To our surprise, the first thing he spotted was not a toy or a weapon or anything that I would have thought would have appealed to him. No, he was ecstatic over his cool find and just had to have it!!
He is definitely his mother's son! I think my heart actually did a little flip flop when I saw how overjoyed he was at the thought of having his own "cool calculator." And it was only $1. I thought that was quite a deal, especially once we were assured that it actually worked.
He can spot out a bargain AND oh, how he loves to add those numbers! I see a little budgeter in the making!
