Yesterday was Seth's last day of preschool for the year and today was the end of year school program. It is always such a sweet little program. This year was no exception. And we were very excited that Seth actually sang his songs with his class. You just never know with Seth. But he walked right up to the front of the church, all smiles, and sang away.

I cannot believe how much he has grown up this year. He still has his cute little munchkin voice and the cute poochy belly, but in so many ways, he has matured so much from last September. His thoughts, his actions, his behavior, his words, his wit, his questions...He is just becoming a big boy. He is so funny and incredibly smart. He can work any puzzle that comes his way and always talks about how God is the biggest. He is the most coordinated four-year-old I have ever seen, and if you put a tennis racket in his hand, you will be amazed! He knows what he wants and he doesn't like to be interrupted. He is laid back with a strong will...a very strong will. He wants to do EVERYTHING "by myself", but is not afraid to ask for help if he needs it. He is my cautious adventurer and is always up for climbing a tree or throwing a rock. If he sees you do anything that interests him, you will hear, "Can I try that?" in that cute little voice (unless, of course, it is a fruit or veggie). He is a very good helper and a super duper cleaner. He loves to play, is a kind friend, and absolutely loves to be silly. He is in awe of his big brother, but has definitely become his own little person. He has his own style of getting things done, too, and makes it very evident that there is more than one way to accomplish ANYTHING. He is fun and sweet and Pre-K, here he comes!!

I am really sad that I have no more little Workmans to send to Mrs. Cindy. She has been a fabulous teacher and it was such a blessing for us that she was both of our boys' first preschool teacher. What an awesome introduction to school for them! Mrs. Cindy told me today what a joy Seth has been to have in class. She commented that he has such an "infectuous personality that everyone loves." She also said that he is "so sweet and doesn't know how in the world I could ever discipline at home." (He must reserve his stubborn side for Mommy.)
And what an extra special treat to have Granny here to celebrate in the last day festivities! Yeah, he was one happy big boy!
