Caleb made this little turkey fellow at his Thanksgiving party at school. For once, I don't think Caleb gave his little friend a name, but he does a home. Right smack dab in the center of our kitchen table. We all happily looked around him at one each other as we ate our Thanksgiving dinner together. And Mr. Turkey is still there now. He doesn't really compliment our Christmas decor, but since he has been planted on our kitchen table for a week and a half now, he has sort of become family. I think we will let him hang out with us for a while longer.
Caleb's class put on a cute Thanksgiving program, complete with Indian vests, war paint, head dresses, and Mrs. Amy introduced them to us by their new Indian names. Caleb chose the name "Fast Swimmer." It was a fun party with food, crafts, and some really cool chocolate turkey cupcakes. These moms are really outdoing themselves this year with the fun parties! Two moms are responsible for each party and I have signed up for the Easter party with my friend, Christina. Maybe by April, the class will be all partied out and ready for a little low key festivity. Remember, party creativity is not my strong suit. A simple no frills Easter egg hunt is its own entertainment. Right? Maybe I can ride on Christina's creative coat tails.

Good thing he is cute. I don't usually share my food.
