Little Workmans in Space...Sort of

While visiting the Upside down house (aka Wonderworks) in Pigeon Forge, the boys really enjoyed hanging out in the space exhibit.  Caleb thought it was so cool to ride in a REAL space ship and Seth just thought it was fun to push all of the buttons.  Any time I lost track of Caleb, I just had to make my way back to the rocket and there he was commanding his air craft and crew.  I did have to tear him away a couple of times, so other kiddos could have a turn.  But he went back to work as quickly as his seat became available again.

There was so much to do in that place!  Bretster went with us, which was fun and also helpful in corraling the boys through all of the excitement and stimulation.  We enjoyed it as much, if not more, than the kiddos.
I was only slightly disappointed that, aside from the entrance foyer, they did not have a few upside down rooms inside to play around in.

Ever lay on a bed of nails?  Well, now Eric and I can add that to our list of life experiences.  That was an interesting, not so comfy, experience.  I probably won't rush out to do that again.  But it was cool to do once.

The boys made some lovely music on the jumbo keyboard.  Actually, they mostly just ran back and forth on it.  But it was music, nonetheless.

The guys challenged one another to a little virtual air hockey.  No plastic pucks to go flying off the table.  That part I missed a little.

Caleb got to climb a rock wall.  For future reference, crocs are NOT ideal rock climbing foot wear.  But it didn't stop him!

Wonderworks was a fun place and helped soften the blow of the Dollywood rainout.
