This picture perfectly captures how Caleb felt about his very first soccer game!!! That smile NEVER left his face the entire time he was on the field. He was so excited to play and be on a team and did I mention his team uniforms are his favorite color??? Soccer is definitely the sport for him. Non-stop action and LOTS of movement. He had a BALL!! And he scored 5 or 6 goals. The teams don't technically keep score, but we couldn't help but notice every time Caleb kicked one through the goal. It was a lot of fun and although we were proud of him for playing well and making some goals, I think the thing that Eric and I were most impressed with was how encouraging of a team player he was. He was out there rallying his team and encouraging the other boys. We could hear him shouting, "Come on team! Let's go boys!" And when it was his turn to take a break, he cheered his buddies on with much enthusiam from the sidelines.
Way to go Biz and the Hot Shots team!!!

Caleb, Tante and Uncle Tim are very proud of you. Not only are you a good soccer player, but you are wonderful with your teammates. We like how you get excited for everyone on the team. That is the sign of a truly good soccer player. Go Hot Shots. Love you!!
