New Look

After over three years of the same look, I guess it is time to change up the ole blog a bit. 

Yes, I am a creature of habit. 

Yes,  I tend to stick by the philosophy, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

And yes, I have been intimidated by the very thought of designing a new page layout.

But after reading through some friend blogs tonight and admiring their cute blog decor, I decided this would be the night I would give it a go.  Shake things up a bit.  Freshen up the ole place.

What I thought would be a thirty minute creative session, turned into a two hour decision making fest-o-rama.  Wow!  The choices. 

Tasks like this seem to highlight my horribly indecisive side. Why couldn't there be three or four template options instead of eight thousand?  And why does there have to be so many colors of green to choose from?

Why?

It nearly sent my mind over the edge.  But I hung tight.  I perservered.  I trialed and errored my way into what I think is a spunky little layout.  Not too crazy, not too busy (I hope).  I tried to find something that would capture our essence.

But do we even have an essence? 

Either way, this is what I put together.  It was much easier than I anticipated, and I hope it is a winner.

Because according to the nature of me,  it is highly unlikely to change again any time soon.
