A Week Without Biz

This is Biz's first week staying with his Memaw and Pepaw in Kentucky all by himself. And boy, is he having a blast! And boy, am I missing him! 

I am so glad that he is getting this special time with Meem and Peep, though, and it is really nice to have some special one-on-one time with Sethie.  Little brother does miss Biz, though.  I think he took the goodbye harder than anyone.  However, I think he is really enjoying having all of the toys to himself, and he is getting used to having mommy and daddy to himself, too.  It is definitely a lot more quiet around here and I am not sure Seth knows quite what to do without having big brother jabbering in his ear non-stop.

This morning, I was upstairs and I heard Seth carrying on a conversation downstairs.  I called down and asked what he was doing and he said, "I am talking to Biz."  I found him on my cell phone carrying on a pretend conversation with his brother.  "I needed to find out how Biz was doing."  I promptly dialed Memaw and Pepaw's house so Seth could carry on that conversation for real.  His first question to Biz was, "What are you playing?"  They talked on and on for all of five minutes and then Seth gave me the phone.  Biz told me all about bible school last night, spending the weekend at the lake, riding his bike, chasing rabbits at Little Pepaw and Snookie's house, and teasing Maggie and Izzy (Memaw and Pepaw's dogs).  Good teasing, not bad teasing, he quickly pointed out.  Memaw confirmed that he is doing very well and having a good time.

Yep, Biz is doing just fine!  And so are we.  But we do miss him!!
