What a wonderful Mother's Day I had!!! I got to share it with my three favorite boys, JC, and my mom! It has been a few years since I have gotten to spend Mother's Day with Mom, so that made it extra special that she was here. After church, we had a relaxing day at home, just hanging out. I did have to work tonight, but guess who all showed up to brighten my night???
Mom arrived on Thursday night for a weekend with the Workmans, and she didn't come empty handed. She brought two Culver's ice cream cakes with her for us to enjoy while celebrating Mom's Day and Caleb's preschool graduation, which will take place tomorrw. It is a miracle that those two cakes even made it to today intact. Okay, so one was not fully intact, since I broke into the turtle cake last night. But I didn't eat the whole thing like I wanted...just a large corner piece.
I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful Mom! And to be a Mom.
It was a great day!!
